Optometric Technician

I grew up in Altoona, graduating from SE Polk High School and from the University of Iowa with a degree in Interdepartmental Health Sciences as well as two minors.  I have previously worked as a CNA in the medical field and delivered vital medical supplies wherever needed in the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.  As someone who is new to the eye healthcare industry, I am super excited to get my start here with so many great people to work with and learn from!  My responsibilities include pretesting, special and diagnostic tests, patient reporting, and corresponding with the doctors to make sure our patients’ eye health is the best it can be!  In my free time I like spending time with my family, relaxing with a movie or video games, playing with my kittens (Luna and Mya), or reading/studying further in my favorite subjects (anatomy/physiology).  I enjoy getting to know our patients and I look forward to seeing you and helping to keep your eyes as health as possible in the future!  You can reach me at:  This email address is being protected from spambots.
